Gaining Knowledge Of The Fundamentals In Indoor And Outdoor Camping
by Rain Philips
Did it ever occur to you that maybe, camping indoors is not that bad after all? Well, maybe not as good as camping outdoors but seriously, you can live with camping indoors if in case you cannot make it outdoors. If you happen to be one of those curious kids (or kids at heart) to try out indoor camping, it is never too late. In fact, it is the best way to give you a pat on the back. You really do not have to leave the convenience of your own home just to enjoy camping. If you think your home is not that big enough to accommodate an indoor camping, you can do it in your very own backyard. Although I think it would still be best if you have your own garden. Also, you do not need to restrain yourself from planning out your very own indoor camping because you think it is not the real thing anyway. Try to make it seem like the real thing. If it is possible, try not to rely on the things that you have at home but rather, on the things that you brought out with you. That way, you will be able to tell if you are really ready for a true outdoor camping. If you keep on forgetting something inside the house, take note of it. Remember, you would not be able to run back home at once if you forget something during your real outdoor camping. For starters, maybe you can just make it fun as a substitute for making it a serious outdoor camping simulation. There will still be rules to follow when you have your indoor camping. This is actually the start of your camping training. You must get used to doing the right thing so when you go out to the real world, you would not depart from it. The first thing you need to learn is discipline. There is so much to learn in outdoor camping so it would be best to learn most of it first. You get to educate yourself on the other pointers as you progress. The key is to absorb as much information as you can. Get rid of the unnecessary information and stick with the best practices. You will surely benefit from the best practices if you do it with all your heart.
Of course, do not expect to be good at it during your first attempts. It will take time before you become good with what you do. All it takes is practice. Eventually, it really helps to camp in or camp out with a good friend. Nothing beats a good companion because you get to learn something from each other. I remember a proverb that says "It is better to travel alone than to travel with a fool". In whatever I do, I make sure that I learn something from the places I go to and from the people I meet. At the same time, I also make sure that my companion learns something from the experience.
